From the first quarter of 2022 Sellerdeck Payments powered by NMI will enforce a security upgrade.
If you are not on the latest version of Sellerdeck Desktop (v16.1.1, v18.1.1 or higher) you must take action now to ensure you can continue to receive card payments. Without taking action you will not be able to receive card payments.
This upgrade has already been applied to v16.1.1 & v18.1.1 and all subsequent versions – meaning if you are on these versions there is no action required.
NOTE: Sellerdeck Payments powered by Opayo is not affected and there is no action if you use this payment gateway.

What is the security upgrade?
Sellerdeck Payments powered by NMI will be upgrading to Hash Code 2.0. A hash code is a security feature that enables validation of the transaction data received by the payments integration post-transaction. This enables mitigation of man-in-the-middle attacks.
Hash Code version 2.0 provides a greater level of security than version 1.0. Further technical information is available in this NMI support article
